For example, if I am doing bench presses, should I do 12 repetitions and slightly increase the weight per set? Or should I use a larger increase the weight per set and do less repetitions?

How important are carbohydrates in building muscle?

I realize that in order to build muscle I have to eat enough total calories. So assuming that my overall caloric intake is high enough, will my relatively low carb intake hinder my muscle growth?
